Shopping in Bodrum

From traditional bazaars to luxury boutiques - find the perfect souvenirs and treasures

1 Bodrum Bazaar

A Colorful Local Experience

Bodrum Bazaar - Colorful Traditional Market

No visit to Bodrum is complete without exploring the lively Bodrum Bazaar. Located in the heart of the city, this vibrant market is full of energy, colors, and local charm. You'll find everything from handmade souvenirs, textiles, and Turkish delights to leather goods, fresh spices, and jewelry.

One thing that stands out is the wide variety of fake designer products — including shoes, bags, watches, and clothes imitating popular brands like Adidas, Nike, Dior, Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and more. While they aren't authentic, many visitors enjoy browsing these items as affordable souvenirs or fun fashion finds.

Just don't forget: bargaining is expected, so bring your best negotiating skills!

How to Get to Bodrum Bazaar

Getting to Bodrum Bazaar is easy. Just take the Gümbet Bus (dolmuş) to the city center. Once you get off on the main street, walk downhill toward the marina. When you reach the marina, turn left, and you'll find yourself right in the heart of Bodrum Bazaar.

Keep an eye out for the colorful shops and crowds — you'll know you're in the right place!

2 Midtown Shopping Center

Modern Mall Experience

Midtown Shopping Center - Modern Mall in Ortakent

If you're looking for a more modern and comfortable shopping experience, Midtown is the place to go. Located in the Ortakent area, this large shopping mall offers a wide variety of international and Turkish brands, including Zara, Mavi, H&M, LC Waikiki, Koton, and more. You'll also find cafes, restaurants, a cinema, and air-conditioned spaces — perfect for escaping the summer heat.

It's ideal for those who prefer brand-name stores and a relaxed, mall-style environment over the hustle and bustle of street markets.

How to Get to Midtown Shopping Center

🚕 By Taxi (Recommended): The easiest way is by taxi, which costs around €10 from your hotel. Simply show the driver the location or ask for "Midtown Shopping Center, Ortakent."

🚌 By Public Transport: Take the Gümbet Bus to the city center first, then transfer to the Ortakent bus that will take you directly to Midtown. This option takes longer but is more budget-friendly.

3 Oasis Shopping Mall

Convenient but Limited

Oasis Bodrum AVM - Open-air Mall in Gümbet

Oasis is another shopping mall located in Gümbet, just a short distance from the hotel. While it's convenient, it's a bit small and lacks many popular brands. The mall is open-air (without a full roof), and the overall style feels a bit outdated.

We wouldn't strongly recommend it for serious shopping, but if you're looking for a quick visit to somewhere nearby, Oasis might still be a useful option.

How to Get to Oasis Shopping Mall

🚌 By Gümbet Bus (Very Easy): The easiest way to get to Oasis is by taking the Gümbet Bus (dolmuş). The bus passes right near the mall. Just tell the driver that you want to go to Oasis, and they'll drop you off next to it — most drivers are happy to show you the way!
